Built for hunting, survival, camping, and outdoor use, the Faneema Cutlery Damascus Steel Hunting & Survival Knife combines traditional materials with rugged fixed-blade construction. The knife features a patterned Damascus steel blade, full-tang construction, a natural antler handle with brass detailing, and an included leather sheath for carrying and storage.

The combination of high-carbon Damascus steel and natural antler gives each knife a distinctive appearance while providing a substantial fixed-blade cutting tool for appropriate hunting, bushcraft, camping, and survival applications.

Damascus Steel Blade

The blade is made from layered 1095 and 15N20 high-carbon steels, producing the distinctive patterned appearance associated with Damascus steel.

The manufacturer lists the blade hardness at approximately 56–58 HRC, providing a balance of edge retention and sharpenability for appropriate outdoor cutting tasks.

Because the Damascus pattern is formed through the layered steel construction, the exact pattern and appearance can vary from one knife to another.

Natural Antler Handle

A natural antler handle gives this knife a traditional hunting and outdoors appearance while making each piece visually distinctive.

Because antler is a natural material, variations in color, texture, shape, surface characteristics, and pattern are normal. Individual knives may therefore differ somewhat from the product photographs and from one another.

Brass detailing complements the natural antler and patterned Damascus blade.

Full-Tang Construction

The knife uses full-tang construction, meaning the blade steel extends through the handle rather than ending shortly after the blade.

Full-tang construction creates a substantial connection between the blade and handle and is particularly desirable in a fixed-blade knife intended for hunting, camping, bushcraft, and survival applications.

Hunting & Survival Design

The fixed-blade design makes this knife suitable for a range of appropriate outdoor cutting applications, including:

• Hunting and field use
• Camping
• Bushcraft
• Survival and emergency gear
• General outdoor cutting tasks

The knife should always be used for appropriate cutting applications and should not be used as a pry bar, screwdriver, hammer, or other tool for which the blade was not designed.

Leather Sheath Included

An included leather sheath provides a convenient way to carry and protect the knife when it isn't being used.

Because leather can retain moisture, the knife should be cleaned and completely dried before extended storage in the sheath.

The sheath should also be allowed to dry thoroughly if it becomes wet.

Natural Materials & Individual Appearance

Both Damascus steel and natural antler can produce variations in appearance.

Differences in the blade's Damascus pattern and the antler handle's color, texture, shape, and markings are normal characteristics of these materials rather than defects.

This means each knife can have a somewhat unique appearance.

Blade & Handle Care

High-carbon Damascus steel requires proper maintenance to help protect the blade and preserve its appearance.

After use, carefully clean the blade and dry it completely. Do not leave water, blood, food residue, dirt, salt, or other contaminants on the steel.

Periodically applying an appropriate protective blade oil can help reduce the risk of corrosion during storage.

Avoid prolonged storage of a damp or wet knife inside the leather sheath because leather can retain moisture against the blade.

Because the handle is made from natural antler, avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture, extreme heat, harsh chemicals, or other conditions that could damage or alter the natural material.

Sharpen the blade using equipment and techniques appropriate for high-carbon Damascus steel.

Important Use Information

This is a sharp fixed-blade cutting tool. Handle it carefully and keep it securely stored when not in use.

Always cut away from your body and keep your hands and other body parts away from the cutting path.

Inspect the blade, full-tang construction, antler handle, and sheath before use. Discontinue use if any part of the knife becomes loose, cracked, excessively worn, damaged, or otherwise unsafe.

Do not use the knife for prying, striking, or other applications that could damage the blade or create an unsafe condition.

Knife possession, carry, transportation, and use laws vary by location. Customers are responsible for following applicable laws and regulations.
