ReadyWise Pro Adventure Pork Chile Verde with Beans combines slow-cooked shredded pork with rice, beans, corn, green chile, and seasonings for a hearty meal that's easy to prepare at the campsite, on the trail, or during an emergency.

This 6-pack provides individually packaged meals that require only boiling water for preparation, making them convenient for camping, hiking, hunting, emergency food storage, and other situations where conventional cooking facilities may not be available.

6-Pack Adventure Meal

This package contains six ReadyWise Pro Adventure Pork Chile Verde with Beans meal pouches.

The individual pouch format makes it easy to store meals with your emergency supplies or pack only the quantity needed for a camping, hiking, hunting, or road trip.

Pork Chile Verde with Beans & Rice

This savory meal features cooked freeze-dried pork with long-grain rice, pinto beans, green chile, sweet white corn, jalapeño peppers, sour cream, garlic, cumin, cilantro, black pepper, oregano, and additional seasonings.

The combination creates a substantial Southwestern-style meal that can be enjoyed directly from the pouch after rehydration or paired with a tortilla when available.

Easy Hot-Water Preparation

Preparation takes place directly in the pouch:

  1. Tear the pouch open at the notch and remove the oxygen absorber.
  2. Add 1¼ cups (10 oz.) of boiling water.
  3. Stir thoroughly and close the zipper.
  4. Allow the meal to stand for approximately 7–10 minutes.
  5. Stir again and enjoy.

Additional water can be added to reach your preferred consistency. Rehydration time can vary depending on altitude.

Convenient for Camping & Emergency Preparedness

These individually packaged meals are useful for:

  • Emergency food supplies
  • Camping
  • Backpacking and hiking
  • Hunting trips
  • RV and overland travel
  • Bug-out supplies
  • Road trips
  • Other situations where conventional cooking may be difficult

Because preparation takes place directly in the pouch, you can enjoy a hot meal while reducing the amount of cookware needed in the field.
