Reduce hard-water problems while traveling with this 16,000-Grain Portable RV Water Softener. Designed for RVs, trailers, camping, and other compatible water systems, it helps reduce water hardness while minimizing scale buildup and hard-water residue on plumbing fixtures and appliances.

The system provides up to 16,000 grains of softening capacity and can reduce water hardness to approximately 0–3 grains per gallon under suitable operating conditions. According to the manufacturer, at a hardness level of 6.5 grains per gallon, the system can provide approximately 2,461 gallons of softened water before regeneration is required.

The softener uses recyclable food-grade resin and can be regenerated with ordinary salt instead of requiring frequent resin or filter replacement. The manufacturer recommends approximately 52 oz (1,472 g) of salt for regeneration when the softening performance begins to decline.

A large-flow 3/4" inlet and outlet help maintain water flow, while the system is rated for a maximum pressure of 150 PSI. Its fiberglass shell and NFS polyethylene tank are designed for durability under normal operating pressure.

Installation requires no electricity or tools. The included brass connectors, 42" water hose, and connection accessories allow the unit to connect to compatible RV water systems, garden hoses, and other suitable water connections.

A built-in carrying handle and compact portable design make the softener easier to transport between campsites and store when not in use.
