Reduce hard-water mineral buildup while traveling with the VEVOR 16,000-Grain Portable RV Water Softener. Designed for RVs, trailers, campers, and other compatible mobile water systems, this compact unit uses regenerable resin to reduce hardness minerals that contribute to scale buildup, water spots, and poor soap performance.

With a manufacturer-rated 16,000-grain capacity, standard 3/4" connections, included 42" hose, reusable resin, and power-free operation, the system provides a portable way to soften campground and other compatible water supplies before the water enters your RV plumbing system.

16,000-Grain Softening Capacity

The system has a manufacturer-rated capacity of 16,000 grains.

Manufacturer specifications list approximately 2,461 gallons of soft-water output under its referenced test conditions. Actual capacity between regenerations can vary substantially depending on incoming water hardness, water consumption, regeneration effectiveness, temperature, and other conditions.

Harder incoming water will generally use the softening capacity more quickly than water with lower mineral hardness.

Regenerable Resin System

Instead of requiring replacement of the entire unit after its softening capacity is exhausted, the resin can be regenerated using salt according to the manufacturer's instructions.

The manufacturer specifies approximately 52 oz / 3.2 lb of salt for the regeneration process.

This reusable design makes the system practical for RV owners who encounter hard water repeatedly during travel.

Designed to Reduce Hard-Water Problems

Reducing hardness minerals can help decrease common hard-water effects such as:

• Mineral scale in compatible RV plumbing and fixtures
• Water spots on dishes and glassware
• Mineral residue around faucets and showerheads
• Reduced soap lather
• Hard-water deposits affecting compatible appliances and plumbing components

A water softener changes water hardness; it should not be confused with a drinking-water purifier.

0–3 GPG Manufacturer-Listed Outlet Hardness

VEVOR lists an outlet water hardness of approximately 0–3 grains per gallon (GPG) under applicable operating conditions.

Actual outlet hardness depends on incoming water quality, flow, resin condition, regeneration, installation, and other operating factors.

3/4" Connections & 42" Hose

The system uses 3/4" NPT inlet/outlet connections and includes a 42" water hose along with multiple connection accessories.

The common connection size is designed for convenient integration with compatible RV and campground water setups.

Always verify the fittings and water-system configuration before connecting the softener.

Power-Free Operation

No electricity is required for normal water-softening operation.

This makes the unit particularly convenient at campsites and other locations where electrical access may be limited.

Compact & Portable Design

The softener measures approximately 25.59" high × 9.14" in diameter and weighs approximately 30.2 lb.

An integrated carrying handle helps with moving the unit between storage and the campsite.

Its upright design provides substantial resin capacity without requiring a permanently installed residential-style softening system.

Water Temperature Range

Manufacturer specifications list an applicable incoming water temperature range of:

40°F to 104°F / 4.4°C to 40°C

Do not expose the unit to water outside the manufacturer's specified operating range.

Important Use Information

This product is a water softener, not a drinking-water purification system. Water softening is intended primarily to reduce hardness minerals and does not by itself establish that water is microbiologically safe or otherwise suitable for drinking.

Always begin with a water source appropriate for the intended use and use separate filtration, purification, or disinfection equipment when required.

The manufacturer's approximately 2,461-gallon output and 0–3 GPG outlet-hardness figures are performance references under specified conditions, not guaranteed results for every water source. Actual performance depends heavily on incoming hardness and operating conditions.

Regenerate the resin according to the manufacturer's instructions when softening performance declines. Follow the specified flushing procedure completely after adding regeneration salt and before returning the system to normal service.

Protect the softener, hose, fittings, and resin system from freezing and other conditions outside the manufacturer's specified operating range.

Before each use, inspect hoses, fittings, seals, and connections for wear, leakage, or damage.
