The WILD-WIND X4N Backpacking Stove & 1.4L Cooking Pot System combines a compact gas burner and hard-anodized aluminum cooking pot into a portable setup designed for backpacking, hiking, camping, fishing, and other outdoor trips.

The 1.4-liter pot provides enough capacity for preparing meals or hot drinks for approximately two people, while the integrated burner, heat-exchanger design, wind-resistant construction, piezoelectric ignition, and adjustable flame control provide a convenient cooking system that packs down for transportation.

1.4-Liter Cooking Pot

The included 1.4-liter pot provides room for preparing meals, boiling water, or making hot drinks at the campsite.

The manufacturer describes the capacity as suitable for approximately two people.

Compact Backpacking Design

The stove base can be packed inside the cooking pot when the system isn't being used.

The manufacturer also states that a compatible 230g fuel canister can fit inside the pot for storage; fuel canisters are sold separately.

This nesting design helps reduce the amount of backpack space required for your cooking equipment.

Efficient Heat-Exchanger Design

An integrated heat exchanger and enclosed, wind-resistant burner design help direct heat toward the cooking pot and reduce heat loss during outdoor use.

According to the manufacturer, the system can boil approximately 0.5 liter of water in about 2.5 minutes under suitable conditions.

Actual boiling time and fuel consumption will vary with weather, altitude, water temperature, fuel pressure, and other operating conditions.

Built-In Piezoelectric Ignition

The stove includes a built-in piezoelectric igniter for convenient push-button ignition without requiring a separate lighter for normal startup.

As with any outdoor stove, carrying a backup ignition method is still advisable.

Adjustable Flame Control

The burner provides adjustable flame control, allowing the heat output to be reduced for simmering or increased when faster heating and boiling are needed.

This makes the system useful for more than simply boiling water.

Hard-Anodized Aluminum Pot

The 1.4-liter cooking pot is constructed from hard-anodized aluminum for a combination of durability, relatively low weight, and effective heat transfer.

A protective cozy surrounds the pot, and the folding handle makes the system easier to handle and pack.

Compact & Lightweight

The complete cooking system is designed for backpacking and other activities where equipment size and weight matter.

Published specifications for the X4 system put its weight at approximately 15.5–16.6 oz., depending on the referenced configuration. Because published figures vary, expect minor differences according to the exact included components.

Important Use Information

For outdoor use only. Never operate a fuel-burning camping stove inside a home, tent, vehicle, RV, enclosed shelter, or other enclosed or poorly ventilated space. Burning fuel produces carbon monoxide, an odorless gas that can cause serious injury or death.

Place the stove on a stable, level, noncombustible surface away from flammable materials before lighting.

Never leave an operating stove unattended. Keep children and pets away from the stove, burner, hot cookware, and fuel.

The manufacturer states that the stove is compatible with most appropriate canisters but specifically excludes Coleman canisters. Verify fuel-canister compatibility before use.

Fuel canisters are sold separately and should be transported, connected, used, and stored according to the fuel manufacturer's safety instructions.

Allow the burner and cookware to cool completely before disassembling or packing the system.
